      Post Sky techinical support down!

      Just been on the phone to technical support, line went dead...so I called back, only to be told that technical support systems were down so were unable to provide any assistance, and to call back in 2 hours.A nyone else been told this or am I just being fobbed off?

      im not skeptical, just thought that it was a bit of a coinsidence that it happened just as the person i was talking to put me on hold...

      Yes we had the same thing an hour ago, a bit frustrating when you have been on hold for 25 minutes.

      The worst. Can I put you on hold for 2minutes then line goes Dead. Also on hold you can hear the agents talking and then someone puts the phone down.

      exactly, thats basicly what it was when it went dead, after i'd been on the phone to one guy who'd put you on hold, just without actually putting me on hold, he just wouldnt talk to me, i could here him talking to somebody/the computer and going "oooooh" "ahhhhh" "i see" haha...

      Hi this is what I did I found a number Customer Relations 02077053000 I was told it was Sky head office got through to reception and asked for Customer Relations and explained what had happened they asked would I like to be put through to Customer Support I said as long as they do not put the phone down on me. I got through and told them the last person I talked to at Customer Support said was going to put me on hold then put the phone down. Also with Customer Relations you get a follow up telephone call asking if the issue was resolved which was good anyway good luck
      (I don`t think they work weekends)

      that sounds like a plan! sounds like the best way to get put through to someone that has a clue what theyre doing...the bloke i first spoke to sounded like he was just reading a script off the screen, repeating it over and over, no matter what i was saying...i clearly knew more about his job than he did...he just wanted me to accept that i had slow speed and go away, but using technical terms seemed to work eventually...until i had the phone put down on me haha

      who would you suggest i asked to talk to, head of customer relations? head of customer support?
