      Log In problems

      Hi

I am still waiting for my connection to be activated by BT, it should have been done on the 21st September 2006. I called SKY and asked about this and also about accessing the SKY webpage, they told me that there has been a problem with the webpage since the 28th August 2006 and there is not timescale at the moment for a fix.

They advised that all you can do is keep trying the username and password that you were sent and if it returns to the login page then the fault has not been fixed. You do not need a new password or a password reset.

I'm having this problem as well, and I can't beleive Sky are hiding behind a "known issue". It's pretty vital to be able to access the site and I'm shocked Sky didn't resolve the issue ages ago.

Since Skyuser claims to have contacts within sky maybe they can get an update

Out of interest - is the SkyBroadband portal login username & password the same as the one you use for the "My Sky" portal, or do they have different passwords?

The "reset password" option for both appears to be identical...

      Welcome to the site Mary

They are the same or at least they should be, the portal and SkyBB email will not function until your SkyBB account goes live and even then the portal may not work but email can still be access via an email client I use Courier to access mine as I still cant get into the portal.

The same login for both. Additonal users can login after you set them up using their details too, but from memory I dont think they can change stuff on the main users profile, like adding extra users etc.
