Strange isnt it, I have had no problems with the portal since activation date, have added users, changed profiles etc with no drama. Also setup 4 Outlook 2003 accounts and appear not have any issues yet.

I think the reason I am unable to get into it is mt BT order still shows as being in progress and it does on the SkyBB system as well even though SkyBB know I am connected the portal database doesn't and from what I can gather thats where SkyBB are having the problem.

Not to worry they will get it sorted in the end.

OK it's working now, and I think I can explain what happens.

You won't be able to login until your Sky BB connection is actually active, I was migrated this morning at 09:00, and once I had the new connection up and running I tried the portal but it still didn't work. It finally started working at around 11:00 so either:

      1. They don't allow login until they are notified by BT that the move is complete (i've just checked the BT landline order checker and the LLU provide order is now listed as completed)... or:
      2. There is some sort of automated system that permits portal login once you are connected via PPP login, but this has a couple of hours delay before taking affect.

      Hope this helps

(d'uh - just looked at your post and it obviously must be option 1!)

      Hi Mary

You are correct on both counts BT have to inform the SkyBB system that the order is complete and then the automated system does what it should to make everything work, but they are also having a problem with the automated system as it not always adding people and they are still working to fix it.
