Lisburn is in Northern Ireland - about 20 miles from where i live. We do speak English as our native language here

      Getting confused with Lisbon?

again, Steve, both the treads you seem insistent on keeping alive are irrelevant to the OP...he's on a long line with bad sync, the Connect throttling issues are the least of his worries...

      Re: 16kbpsdwnspeed

The OP should do an Official BT Performance Test, the link is in (Unofficial) FAQ - Sky Connect Users and post the result for further info. BT tests will be useful when complaining to Sky, although it looks like the only option will be a cease of contract. Especially if he/she is paying 17.

      Re: 16kbpsdwnspeed

As I have said on my last post MADEINLISBURN1988 the most important thing is to confirm package. and how long have they been sky broadband with this broadband package
To ME it looks like Bt RAMBo in that case they need their line reprofiled.

I do not understand trying to keep to threads open
again, Steve, both the treads you seem insistent on keeping alive are irrelevant to the OP...he's on a long line with bad sync, the Connect throttling issues are the least of his worries...
Are these threads unimportant to connect Customers the second thread was to make it easier for new connect Customers
I have been Quiet for awhile about connect but that could easily change to keep the faith

Exactly, but will BT do anything about it without the proof of an official test? Sky will no doubt tell him his PC is riddled with viruses and he should clean it up before they do anything.

      Re: 16kbpsdwnspeed

I do not understand we try to assist in having tests and information ready so Sky CST can have an easier time and then some Customers being talked to as if they are idiots the amount of threads saying how Sky Customers are treated and would not ring Sky back to be insulted again. Then member`s of Skyuser assisting those Customer with information that should help them with their Sky issue.
I like the saying. (The person with the least Knowledge is the cleverest of all. He has less to learn) The other (It costs nothing to be polite)
