Re: (Unofficial) FAQ - Sky Connect Users

Any ideas how long it takes for an unbundled exchange to go live? My exchange, Portlethen, supposedly went LLU(according to Samknows) on 20/09/09. O2 says they dont know when, and, if at all it will be unbundled in the near future. I am confused as to where Samknows get their info. Are there any other sites that have more info?

Hi go to SamKnows Broadband - Availability - Exchange Search Bottom of page left side LLU Operators click on and go to O2 click on and you should see Exchange coverage by region go to Scotland 122 (9.77%) click on list and you should see.
      Aberdeen Ashgrove20/09/2009 Aberdeen Scotland
      Aberdeen Bieldside 20/09/2009 Aberdeen Scotland
      Aberdeen Culter 20/09/2009 Aberdeen Scotland
      Aberdeen Denburn 20/09/2009 Aberdeen Scotland
      Aberdeen Kincorth 20/09/2009 Aberdeen Scotland
      Aberdeen Kingswells 20/09/2009 Aberdeen Scotland
      Aberdeen Lochnagar 20/09/2009 Aberdeen Scotland
      Aberdeen North 20/09/2009 Aberdeen Scotland
      Aberdeen Portlethen 20/09/2009 Aberdeenshire Scotland
      Aberdeen West 20/09/2009 Aberdeen Scotland
It looks like just about all Aberdeen was enabled by O2 LLU on the 20/09/09.
I thought this might help as a reference when you contact O2 again

Thanks for that Steve, but O2 dont recognise Samknows and they say they have no idea if it will be unbundled at all in the near future. So no further ahead.

Re: (Unofficial) FAQ - Sky Connect Users

Thanks for that Steve. I cant wait to move so I can get away from this rubbish speed in the evenings. Just hope it will be better. I suppose it cant be worse once O2 has the exchange unbundled.

Hi just about everyone on the Connect package that are having problem are caused by the traffic shaping connect is over subscribed. Have a look at the connect threads and posts you should be able to get some idea of what is happening
