Question Stats on connect, any good?

Are these stats good for a connect package? Some days i can download at 600kbs others its down to 100kbs. When i first took on sky bb (connect) i regularly had downloads of 700kbs but it has really slowed recently. I know that the line is often throttled but even in the middle of the day videos are always buffering because it cannot keep up.The exchange is very close to my address, about a km at most by road. Is it worth contacting sky about it?

Your stats are great but the connect package isn't.

There is nothing your end you can do and nothing that Sky will do their end to sort it.

The only real option is to move away to another ISP.

Of you could get Skymax you would easily get 16mb or 24mb with another LLU provider.

Hi if you are going to ring Sky a few Bt performance tests will not go wrong because they will ask you to do the Bt performance test Test Result if you have results you are one step ahead.you need telephone number then be asked for see below
the user name you need is the 8 digit? mac code on the bottom of the sky router it`ll be like 005ER7FCD then you add @skydsl
      Hope you get everything sorted

Re: Stats on connect, any good?

      Yes, connect is killing you

There is nothing you can do now except leave, there are many better suited ISP's out there who handle the BT package better, although there may be a cost increase if you need to keep the 40GB download limit.

Try:- Plusnet, Zen, IDnet to name a few.

Wow! how close is that, throw a cable over the wall and plug straight into the exchange. Orange have LLU there.

I used to visit the pub down the road at Barlborough, on the roundabout with A619
      Sync at 11194Kbps
