Could it be a loose wire? I noticed a had a lose wire on my phone line. If you just touched the wire the dialing tone went. I have made thewire connection stronger hopefully.
Could the internet connection loss been caused by that?

Ok the orange wire is out (Already was).
The wire that was loose was just blue.
I'm still getting the problem, the internet keeps dropping (Disconnecting) & coming back on.

Thats a better noise margin 7db. I would say you could still do better on the speed side. You could replace the master socket for NTE5a socket and then get a fitered faceplate, you can get both from ADSL Nation. Link below.

      http://www.adslnation.com/phpapps/ca...roducts_id=114 - For the NTE5a master socket.

http://www.adslnation.com/phpapps/ca...roducts_id=105 - For the filtered faceplate.

Do you actually have hardwired extensions?

Yeah, I have extended hardwired cable going to my PC.
The router is in another bedroom.
I'm on hardwired & everyone else is on wireless.

I meant do you have an telephone extension wired into the back of your master socket as opposed to a plug in type of extension.

      Hmm I don't think so.
The telephone is plugged into a an ADSL filter.
The telephone starting point was moved to the bedroom.
The phone cables & net cables are wired into an chrome socket which my dad done.
