If you are on Sky Base, which you will be if you are only paying 17.50 for your package, you should only be getting 2Mb.

I pay 17.50 for the TV. And 10 for the broadband.

Hi the best idea is to put in on The Broadband ISP: the broadband you receive either sky Base. sky Mid. sky Max. or connect. so anyone can see what package you are on

OK Paul, now that we have established that, if you can post your stats from your normal router position and then plugged into the Test socket, if you have one, we will be able to give you some advice. Full instructions on how to get your stats for your particular router can be found here-
How to get your router statistics

      Copy and paste them here.

Re: My Sky Max BB gives me 5.5, but...

You stats look quite good for your attenuation. If you have permanent phone extensions you may see a slight improvement if you remove the ring wire in the Master socket. This is the wire which is connected to terminal # 3 on the back of the face plate. This can cause interference to the broadband signal and it is not required when using modern phones or filters. You will not see a lot of difference but it may be worth it.

Your actual download speed is slightly low for your sync so if you are not running Vista, try downloading and running DrTCP, link below. Take the Tweak test first, then use the application to carry out it's recommendations. You could see a 10% improvement. If you are running Vista, it is well optimised for broadband so nothing can be done.

DLM is running on your line, but it looks like it has finished it's training. Unlike many it seems to have left your line in a good condition.

Just remember not to use long telephone extensions to plug the router in and make sure everything you plug into the phone line runs through a filter and you should be OK.
