      BUY THEM

Trust me sky wireless sucks, and so does other wireless for that matter.

Its like I got a direct connection, internet starts up on a dime, no lag.

      True D/L speeds.

Re: I FINALLY DID IT !!! Thanks to home plugs

Horses for courses - Whilst I agree that the homeplugs are very good at what they do, and I DO have a pair of Devolo 85mb ones that are great - I like my wireless to be just that, ie wireless!!! I can't be doing with being "tehtered" lol...

But, for a fixed, or reasonably fixed piece of equipment, they are very good....

As an aside Canada16, how have you got the PS3 set up for the streaming, and what format are the files on your pc that you are streaming??

Re: I FINALLY DID IT !!! Thanks to home plugs

M2TS Blu ray files and AVI.

M2TS, was a nightmare to stream before the home plugs, it just kept stopping all the time.

I got FFDSHOW, then I installed Tversity and told it to install all the codecs as well as normal, and its working fine, make sure you diasble usser account though. I also have installed WMP Classic which is ammazing and I think that contains good codecs as well

I still have wireless though as well as got a PC and Laptop and PS3. so use the home plugs for the PC upstairs as no need for that to be wireless, its not like a walk around with my PC .. LOL

And my lappy is still good to go.

Haha same here, i saw that fenix thread, glad to see you saw sense and went for it.

I have the same moniker there and got them all started using the p7 torches as i was one of the few to jumped right in.

Frame is currently bust but hopefully by the end of year i'll have me a commencal speed 4 with all the xtr/reba/oro gear from my previous tomac, i got lucky and bought a ton of expensive gear before the price hike, an xtr chainset that was 200 is now 340!!

      See you on the radar.

Oh btw the km player is far better for video, plays m2ts no problem, just make sure to open the advanced features if you intend on fiddling.

Re: I FINALLY DID IT !!! Thanks to home plugs

      Hey

I didnt even know about the P7's until after I bought the fenix light.

I needed the light sorta straight away though as was going back and forth to work.

Its bright enough for the roads, and dont do much XC in the dark, by the time night hits im usually p!ssed LOL

I got a XT cassette and bits from merlin, before the price increase, but merlin tend to not follow the crowd, when it comes to prices.

I got WM classic and find it great, I can play MT2S files on it, you can also adjust the screen size to how you want it, just use the arrows and it will go big and small.

Was supposed to go to afan again today, but my mate backed out, went down the W2 without knowing it was a black run... but I did ok, was going to take him down the penrydd, but he said he was not feeling very good,
