Sky BB/PS3 failed connect since 2.60 update?

My PS3 connection to my Sky (Netgear) router worked fine untill I updated the
PS3 to version 2.60. Now the connection fails, and I have tried to re-intialise it but the connection continues to fail. The PS3 auto scans the SSID as correct, I enter the WPA key correctly. The other settings, I have tried on auto, and I have also entered them manually, but the connection fails? Do not know what else to try. I know this is a Sony PS3 problem, but maybe someone on this forum may be able to help, PLEASE.

Thanks 4 reply. Yes, as said, I have entered the WPA correctly exactly as before, in caps. I also have a Sony PSP which connects fine, and I have made a note of the Sky settings from that. I am baffled?

I have used a program called PS3 media, but it tends to stutter.

Re: Sky BB/PS3 failed connect since 2.60 update?

I know how to set it up.

Maybe I should have re-worded better.

I find it stutters, especially on hi-def files.

Have any of you over come that?

      Sorry to hijack.

I am new to adsl and have not had a problem, and my PS3 is up to date, and I have the same set-up.

Have you tired re-setting the PS3 and starting the internet connection again?
