      Broadband/Internet Problem

      Hi everyone, i was wondering if anyone can help me, recently when i have been surfing online, i get this appearing on the screen when iam browsing:



      Whilst this is displayed, it wont let me do anything until i click Cancel, which it will then disappear but pop up again every 2-3 mins.

      Anyone any ideas as to whats causing this and is it something to do with my Sky Router?

      This normally happens with a Sagem router, and when you lose sync with the exchange.

      yeah, i have a sagem router, iam connect to the internet, however when this popup appears it wont let me continue, any ideas on how to fix it or do i have to give sky a call?

      It will only happen when the router loses synch with the exchange. Is your wiring OK - not using a dodgy extension lead or similar?

      no, wiring is fine, straight into the phone socket with filters etc

      I would ring Sky then and see what they say. They should be able to see how often it loses synch etc

      ok, thanks, ill try restarting the router first of all, see if it gets me anywhere.............

      Ive just restarted my laptop and so far i havnt recieved the message again. I was reading on another website that it could be a firmware issue, is the most recent firmware for the sagem 1.9sky?
