Mate tell me about it. I work in IT and its so painful being completely helpless. Can I urge those still on connect to check the 'Order Broadband' page on Sky's website and keep an eye on it. I was on Connect, checked here everyday. For some reasons it flips back to saying 'you can only order Connect', in the afternoons, so the morning is the best time to run the check, hope it says 'Congratulations' and press the big red button.

As soon as it shows Mid, get on that phone, its the easiest process and is done through, ironically, the Sky Broadband upgrade people, NOT tech support.

Thinking of going up to Max following the move to scratch a serious itch. Yesterday evening I was getting 27kbps. Jokes. I can't imagine what 1.5mbps is like! (I'm very near the exchange so reckon the full 16meg is not out of reach).

      Cheers

      paulo

Erm tech do nothing at all to your account so have no way to upgrade, tech support are there to support the technical side of the connection, they have no dealings with your account package setup.

having seemingly spent a small part of this year on hold to them for various reasons whilst on connect, I suppose it just became a natural reaction. My reasoning was why the frick wasn't I contacted to be upgraded. Why keep a user on Connect? And why sit here as a consumer, on Connect and think, hmm I may upgrade my way out of this aweful service. On second thoughts, nah.

Maybe calling Broadband sales seemed far too easy.

      That answer your question?
