      Broadband Problems

      Hey, Everyone!,

I switched over from BT to Sky Max 11days ago now,
My internet is slow as anything, i suffer disconnections regulary, (its just disconnected twice while writing this)
My router sync speed is pants never been as low as this, its been over 4000 before an the upstream was 768 the day of connection.

      DownStream Connection Speed 2047
      UpStream Connection Speed 796

I am thinking i wish i had never moved ISP now, the internet disconnected a little bit on BT but it might of been once in a blue moon but this just takes the mickey! i would post my noise stats up but the internet is that slow it wont even let me access it to post it up, my router is already in the master socket i dont have a test socket so i cannot try that either any ideas
      kind regards
      Adam

      Re: Broadband Problems

perhaps being on adsl2+ is the problem...you're gonna need to call Sky either way as the line's capped but they can tell you what's kicking off wiring wise...you should see 4Mbps uncapped, maybe a bit more...

might be worth the investment now to save you the hassle in future - get an NTE5 and a filtered faceplate and be done with it!! lol!!
