      Quick question re. IP Profiles

      Chaps,

quick question on IP Profiles on Connect. Is it possible for BT to artificially set them at a certain level or it is a case of, you get it reset and let it slowly sync back up a la training period?

I'm syncing at 6.5 meg, IP profile nailing me to 5meg. Not that this matters a jot post 5pm, but something I'm just kind of interested in.

      Ta folks

      Paulo

Re: Quick question re. IP Profiles

Your BRAS profile is determined by your stable sync e.g. a sync of between 6240 and 6815kbps, held for a clear 3 days should result in a profile of 5500kbps.

If your sync is usually 6500kbps but your BRAS profile is only 5000kbps then it looks like your sync must occasionally drop below 6240kbps, so triggering the lower profile.
