      wireless connection problem

      hi
i have been with sky b/b a while now but i have a problem, in the fact that i cannot connect to the wireless router anymore!! i can connect to the router via an ethernet cable no problem but now when i try to connect to the router via pc or my laptops it doesnt even register on the wireless connection window. It sees other wireless connections from from my neighbours but not my own. i have rebooted the router and done a reset but still to no avail. all my pc's used to connect no problem but it seems that the wireless part of the modem is just not working.

      Re: wireless connection problem

Check in your router settings that wireless hasn't been switched off.

If all else fails, reset the router to factory defaults.

      Re: wireless connection problem

      Greetings,

First off if you are able to see other routers they may be interfearing with yours and so change the channle to 11 or some thing like that,
Also try changing the mode to 802.11,
And when you are in there why not change the SSID also.

      This should help.

Now ditch the wireless and connect properly, either with homeplugs are just a standard ethernet cable, wireless sucks.
