      speed downloads,etc,is it worth it.
You will get a download speed of about 2Mb, which when you consider that a few years ago, the most you could get on broadband was a quarter of that, it is not bad. You can download/upload up to 2 Gb, which is not a lot but plenty for surfing and emailing. For a fiver, it is not a bad deal. Whether it is worth it or not is up to you, remember included in that fiver is a free wireless router, worth 40-50. If you want to download much, you really need Mid, with up to 8Mb and 40Gb allowance.

      Re: sky base

Not really, streaming video very quickly eats up bandwidth.

      Some quick examples of usage:

Browsing the internet uses approx 10MB/hour
Listening to online radio approx 18MB/hour
600 emails would be approx 12MB
A streamed video uses about 150MB/hour
A music video approx 4 minutes on iTunes is approx 40MB to 50MB in size once on your hard drive

With Base you get 2GB usage, which is approx 2000MB (iirc)
