      black netgear

      hi friends
during the day my snr is 7 on this router and in the evening it drops to 1 is this a router bug ? , if i use my white netgear it drops to something like 5 but never as low as 1

      current black netgear stats

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 15411 kbps 764 kbps
Line Attenuation 30 db 16 db
Noise Margin 1 db 18 db

is there a fix for this if its a router bug or just leave it?

If it doesn't drop, why worry. If it does drop it should reconnect at a speed it can maintain, lower but more stable. How do you manage to have 2 routers from Sky, was the V1 supposed to be faulty?

if your talking about me man... i brought one off ebay last week dead cheap! because my v2 made my connection unsuable in the evenings and also when i go to o2 eventually i have a decent router plus you can do more admin stuff on the v1

No, I was addressing the OP Sam, I am a V1 fanboy too. They are superior to the V2s in many ways.
I got a V2 from eBay too, it performs just as well as the V1 on my line but as you say, the V1 has more going for it, especially with the CU firmware.
