yeah requested the mac code, the fault is with both wireless and with the ethernet, no computer can connected throught the router and show any webpages, so the problem must be the router.

You could get your username and password from the Sky router and put them into the TalkTalk router. This could confirm whether it is the router at fault. It only takes minutes.

That is looking good. As you are on Connect there is a good chance your line will still be training, so be careful and don't reboot or switch your router off too often. Power it of for a minute then switch on again, once a day to allow it to resync with the exchange.

You can try a Performance test to see what your speed and Profile are like. With a bit of luck you will have a nice high Profile and that it will stay that way. To performance test -
Go to BT Performance Tester enter your phone number then your ADSL username. This will do an official BT speed test and show your present profile. Your ADSL username is <the LAN MAC number of your router, no colons, followed by> @skydsl (the last letter is a small L.)

To be honest I thought the maximum sync on Connect was 8128 with a maximum throughput of 7150kbps. Maybe BT have upgraded something

I think they may have changed their system, can't be a woman surely, or it would have knocked some off, not added on.
