Has anyone on Connect managed to leave in contract?

As the post tilte really, has anyone managed to persuade Sky to let them leave the contract due to the poor service levels? (obviously within the first 12 months)

If so, what did you have to do to achieve this?

At a guess I would think you would need to show you contacted tech support regularly and gave them ample oppurtunity to put the issue right. Normally you have to do this to show the issue is there and not being resolved.

It depends on what you mean by " poor service levels " ,

If its just to throttling then they do have the right to charge you for the rest of the contract due to the fact its in the contract .

But if its due to no connection and you & sky have done every thing that can be done they yes i am sure this will be grand ,

But if its a tech fault and you are not willing to T/S then again they do have the right to charge you again due to it being in the contract that you must be willing to T/S .

      Regards
      Steven

Sorry just wanted to point out that its not " throttling " its classed as " traffic management " in the T&Cs

Re: Has anyone on Connect managed to leave in contract?

Tell me about it man ,

But in the end most of them say that " provider " has the right to change the service agreement with out notice ,

But i do feel for all the connect folks out that i have seen some real bad one cases,
