      buy new products

      has sky got a site where i can purchase a new router and usb as i want to upgrade from the old white model that is now falling apart?

      I don't know if there's any benefit in "upgrading" from the Mark1 (white) router -- it has an external antenna which may give an advantage over the newer models in some situations.

      If you are fairly techie you might obtain a secondhand Sky router (I got one minus PSU and antenna at a car boot on Saturday for 2) and transfer your user name to it -- tutorial on this site.

      Incidentally, the router I got for 2 had been written off because the wireless wasn't working -- opening the case revealed that the mini-pci module had merely slipped out of its slot. Presumably when it was dropped. Now working perfectly.

      i want a replacement as my usb adapter is breaking in half and the router is starting to fall apart. i guess its replacements that i need.
      if i go to ebay what model could i buy or does it have to be the same?
      i have got a belkin n wireless router but could never set it up before

      if i bought from from amazon/ebay i guess i would have the issue of passwords and setting the new router up. im a novice have tried it b4 with a belkin router but couldnt get it to work. is there a step by step guide on how to do this?

      If your router is falling to bits, ring Sky, they should replace it under warranty. You can get the USB stick anywhere, Amazon etc.

      ive emailed sky saying i want a new router and usb stic as i havent been happy with the qualiy the the router they provided in the first place, just waiting for a response. i would rather get one from them to save on all the hassle of setting up a new one
