      Low throughput on Sky Max

      Hi,

      I've been on broadband MAX up to 16mbit for just over 1 year.

      Until around 2 weeks ago I regularly got 14mbit.

      All of a sudden i'm now lucky to get 3mbit although the router is connected at 12mbit...


      Anyone else having issues on max??

      I have reported it to Sky who basically said "nothing we can do, sorry".


      Shocking...

      No one else offers 16mbit in my area though which sucks!!!

      Please post your router stats and if wireless, do another test wired using a couple of different speedtesters such as Skyuser's, Namesco and speed.io.

      . . . and please change your Skyuser profile which says you're on Base.

      Sorry about that.

      I've already done all of that business, i'm a network consultant so I know all about the nm, snr, faceplates, etc etc.

      I've just placed my order to move to Opal up to 24mbit... hopefully it will be a bit better.
