There is no DACS on the line, this would have been picked up during the first bb activation. As to when to ring Sky, most people say after 10.30 at night.

Re: Cant take this slow speed any more

      That is very disappointing
I wonder if the advice we have been giving to phone after 10.30 has back-fired and caused an overload on the system. In the past most have reported that they got through to CST in a matter of minutes.

If you are on Sky talk, the calls will be free, but if you are not it will be costing you plenty. You should keep a record of your calls and their duration and make a claim to Sky for compensation. There is no reason you should pay for their incompetence. The operators in Tier 1 must know how long the queue is and advise you accordingly.

The big clue may be in those few words.......a faulty BT filter perhaps?

Re: Cant take this slow speed any more

Looking back through your posts it is possible that they did do something to your line or exchange connection. Your noise margin jumped to 32.9dbs, which shows your line has he potential to sync at pretty near 8Mbs, which you would expect with your attenuation. This is much better than your previous stats. I did not notice this earlier.

I think you have been put on a test speed, or the line has been capped to allow the repairs. You only need to get through to CST to get the cap lifted and you will have a very good speed. Keep trying
