      Weird Problem

This problem has been going on ever since we recieved sky broadband max which was when it first came avaliable! But only recently has it become such a pain in the ****!

At first i thought it was sky's teething problems but the problem still persists.

Right, i play alot of online games both on my xbox and pc, as well as this i download all the latest demo's for 360 games (i cant buy every game so i like to try them out) now the problem i have is when im downloading, ill be able to download around 1gb and then my internet will disappear, on the router settings it says everything is working, but until i reboot the router it will not work, it does this all the time when im downloading or even if me and my family are surfing the web for long enough, every time i ring sky they say the same thing "Change over the micro filter" and im sick and tired of this, does anyone here know what is happening and if you can help me? thanks

      Nathan

      Re: Weird Problem

Look at the linky below that should explain how to post your stats.

Also what lights are illuminated on the router when the "internet" stops working.

      Re: Weird Problem

      Are you using wireless?

If so try a wired connection.

      Re: Weird Problem

Sounds like the router is just locking up, Which router do you have, white netgear ? Black netgear/sagem ?
