      Sky broadband router - is it ok to plug into an extension socket?

      Is it possible to plug a sky broadband router into an extension socket, or does it have to be plugged into the master socket?

      Not a good idea but if you must, you must. Is this for your mums BB? Dont forget to disconnect the ring line from 3 in the master.

      Yes, it's for my mum's broadband. Thanks for the reminder re. disconnecting the ring line - I know exactly what to do following your very friendly advice!
