      This will also happen if you have mobile phone chargers etc plugged next to your homeplug.
      Maybe may would have been a better choice of word

      would anyone have any suggestions as to what my problem could be ...using max value plugs into the sky router....don't seem to want to play with either my pc, laptop or blu ray.

      I use Solwise AV ones and they need the encryption button to be pressed first on first use, not something as simple as that mate is it?

      FWIW with the Solwise ones the link speed is currently 137Mbit transmit and 135Mbit receive.

      1st try them off the same gang of 4 next to each other and see if they actually connect.

      One problem you may have is that they may not work if something odd has happened with the wiring on your house.

      A friend of mine cannot use them as his house had the wiring done really strange and the upstairs and downstairs were connected up completely separate to each other.
      I'm a PC, and Windows 7 Backup saved my sanity when BitDefender imploded !!!
