      Noise Margin 26.6 db 21.5 db

      even worse.

      oh dear not good..... its like you have been capped heavily!....

      is it like this all the time or only at certain times?

      only recently noticed- last two weeks - rebooting the router appears to fix for a while, then at times notice a slowdown - login to status and see those figures.

      Having just plugged in the sky router - its gone straight to those figures.

      yup this is a good case to phone sky up with say you have a intermittent connection now is best while you have the slow figures

      dont mention your other router and leave the sky router in

      been on the phone for an hour....

      nothing we can do, nothing wrong with the line.

      managed to get a tone test on the line..

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
      Connection Speed 2101 kbps 409 kbps
      Line Attenuation 49.5 db 29.3 db
      Noise Margin 9.4 db 22.5 db


      finally been escalated - to tier 2....

      after a load of fannying about, am about to be escalated again, but that has been put on hold while BT investigate a line fault.....

      quite why it took 2 hours of phone calls to get this far is beyond me...
