I've lost connectivity completely now, so i'm without broadband. Which I think is a good sign because sky wouldn't leave us completely without bb would they?

The latest we have heard is -

Engineers have replaced the cabling but errors are still been seen.
      Which has already been stated.

Re: Sky speed problems [Part 2]

I have also completely lost my BB connection. I am served from the Kidsgrove Exchange. Last night speed tests suggested that it was slower than dialup 56K. Then it died completely and hasn't worked since. Are they actually trying to fix it?? I am on BB Max by the way if it makes any difference. I'm using tinternet at work now which is monitored so don't get to use it for long or for many websites really, so it's a pain in the butt in more than one way. I will watch this thread through and hope they fix it soon.

      Chad.

That's stage 3 of the repair process.

We have invited Sky to give us an official update on the current issues on the affected exchanges, however we have had no news fed back so far.

What are the rules on compensation for no broadband. I know that BT make it fairly clear for faults its 2 days, after which you can claim compensation on a daily rate. I remember when I moved house they did not manage to activate the line for about 2 weeks, and then was given 250 credit in the account as compensation. Sky should at least give people effected 1 month free BB
