Just thought I would chime in since I have the same problem.

I'm happy to have found this thread, I thought my router was dying noticing this slow drop in speed and now complete failure (when it comes to the ability to download a web page at any rate) but since I am on the kidsgrove exchange I now know the real reason behnd my problems.

Thanks to you guys championing my cause without me knowing it.

You mean you didn't see Sky's public announcment about the probem, followed by their rapid, concise and thorough updates? Me either.

Re: Sky speed problems [Part 2]

Is it worth wandering down to the exchange to see what's going on? I will later when I get home from work - see if there is any activity evident......

What do the Sky techies who read this forum think? I know "it's only a tenner" but my Sky package is 70-80 quid PM......it's getting to the point that Sky should be taking this seriously

Do we know who's incumbent here? is it Sky, BT or someone else???

It definitley involves Sky but they will obviously do their best to try and throw some of the blame onto BT (which it could be). None of the other LLU providers have any problems with that exchange at the moment and neither do BT with their own services.

Anybody have any update? We now have no service at all at Goldenhill. Every website is timing out. I'm connected to the router but there's no life in the old dog.

Why would O2 want to sort out an issue between BT/Sky, I would think its to their benefit to not do that?
