Angry Sky Broadband + Netgear DG834PN = Unstable Internet Connection

To get a better wireless signal for my PS3, I upgraded my router to a Netgear DG834PN. I went through the motions of setting it up, and got the router up and running.

I tested the wireless signal but was disappointed that it wasn't much better than the original sky router.

I then went back to my desktop and noticed it had dropped the internet signal. It is now very unstable. It is off more than it is on, and I would be lucky to get more than 5 minutes out of it.

So I am posting this from work and really hope someone can help me out !!

      Thanks

      Matthew

Need to see the router stats so we can get an idea what is going on.

You would have been better investing in some homeplugs, they are as good as a wired connection and work great for gaming, no more drop outs or lag when someone walks past or puts the microwave on.

Should also mention that I've spoke to Sky who say everything seems ok at their end.

If I plug my original router back in (that was working fine before I attempted the upgrade btw) it will not work either
