      Actually not sure if they've tried regrading the line, shall speak to the neighbours tonight in regard to if there is a local throughput issue.

      However, what is TPS?

      TPS, swap your cable from on port in the exchange to another

      isnt that pair switching? the bt guy did this for me this sorted my problem..

      Tie pair shift, pair switching what ever you want to call it. Thats just swaps the port also new cables. If its a faulty port then yeah would fix it.

      possably im not a expert on the exchange side of things...had some work experience but not alot...

      I would love to say yes or no, honestly don't know. Would not of thought so, maybe I am wrong though.

      this is probabilly the first thing the bt engineer would do...if you can get one to be called out to you if TPS solves your problem you wont be charged may i add...

      yes they would seeing as its a broadband problem unless you phone line is crackly as well
