Re: Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down?

IAmNotTheEnemy Hi I think what is missing is connect Customers are told one thing from Sky for instance LLU will be in your exchange within six months or within a year and Sky has not enabled any LLU for awhile now correct me if I am wrong it could be any ISP but Skyuser Forum is not only growing at a fast rate it is well known. This thread only started in January 2009 and the amount of posts 730 viewed 16,906 also new Sky connect Customer as early as Feb have had their ten days. After speeds ok for a few weeks then Throttle and Traffic Management. A lot of Sky connect users are venting their anger on this thread because they feel miss led lied to and let down so I`m sorry but they will give you a hard time and if you think it is bad now and if Sky management continue and telling agents to get new customer and Sky do nothing about their problem.
but to just slate Sky constantly on a forum that's meant to help Sky customers isn't really needed...
That sound like fighting talk. More like handbag at a ten paces
I actually take offence to that statement - I'm a university graduate!!

Do you realy think that yunorisson Joined Sky to leave.
I don`t think so andwhat about other connect Customers they expected the service they were offered and did not get it. So lighten up or you will have a heart attack

'...for instance LLU will be in your exchange within six months or within a year and Sky has not enabled any LLU...'

that's nothing to do with me or tech support, so should go in the feedback forum not here...

'...correct me if I am wrong it could be any ISP but Skyuser Forum is not only growing at a fast rate it is well known. This thread only started in January 2009 and the amount of posts 730 viewed 16,906...'

SkyUser forum IS well known, for Sky customers. as for 16k views, that's not 16k individuals - that's people like you and me constantly posting!! lol!!

'...so I`m sorry but they will give you a hard time...'

why should I put up with that?? i only work for Sky and am in the same situation as you!! If i could do anything about it do you think I wouldn't?!?! I'm the ONLY Sky employee to post on this thread regularly so don't gimme all that BS that I should take the flack...

'Do you realy think that yunorisson Joined Sky to leave...'

No, but do you think I risk my job posting on here to get s*** on?? Exactly...

end of the day, you either complain to Sky or leave...no need to have a go at me or any other Sky person on here as we can't help you!!!

p.s. you put a quote first THEN comment, not the other way round

I am so sorry that you took offence, it certainly wasn't intended that way.

You stated that you were a 'professional', I simply wondered what were you a 'professional' of?

Were you a professional pilot? Were you a professional rugby player? Were you a professional actor?

It turns out that you are a professional university graduate. Thanks for making things clear.

Honestly, there was no need for you to be offended, no offence was intended.

Re: Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down?

i still cant convince anyone to switch away from sky. how long do we need to 'not download' for? its been atleast 2 months now and 1/3rd of the packets my connection is recieving are dropped for no reason - its not between my pc and router, ive checked that. It isnt between the router and the exchange - i get negligable errors. so its either inside the router, or sky/bt's fault.

Not sure what you mean, why would anyone who is happy want to move? Some who have posted in this thread and were unhappy have moved to other ISPs. There is nothing to stop you moving if you want to, but it does not look like your problem is entirely down to throttling.

Dropped packets will slow a connection, but I don't think the reverse is true. Have you sought help on the forum for your problem?
