trouble with this is, I've seen on many forums, that I use for hobbies etc, people posting that sky connect is becoming the least atttractive option, and there is no worse publicity than bad word of mouth

your right, obviously people will have different levels of information but to an unknowing person they hear sky broadband is rubbish they will take it as gold including LLU services... and pick sumone else..

sky rep said to me that there gonna LLU every exchange to which i replied they have 1,190 active and only 4300 to go.. cant really see my exchange with only 3000 people being active any time soon!

Said the same thing to me when I signed up 2 years ago and that mines would be done in 6 months...lot of cack to be honest just something they rattle off to keep you happy.

They havent touched an exchange since Oct 08 and with the current financial climate being what it is I doubt very much they will be starting again anytime soon.

No, it is 40 Gbs a month. Nowhere in the conditions is there any mention of 1.4Gbs or anything else per day.

It seems that Sky may be interpreting their own T&Cs differently. I think it was IANTE that posted that it was divided into daily amounts and going over on one day could trigger retribution.

harsh, considering a Linux distro or Downloading the windows 7 beta, or even buying a game download will put you straight over on a daily allowence.

Do Sky actually want the connect customer as they seem to want to alienate them pretty fast.
I'm a PC, and Windows 7 Backup saved my sanity when BitDefender imploded !!!

Can't help their drive to get you using Sky Player either.
