Did you have a look to see what your upstream is.
IAmNotTheEnemy if your upstream is 448kbps you're on Connect..

No news officially so far. But Sky are definitely aware of this thread, I will update as and when I get anything to report.

ah ok now ive read all of this i know understand that there is a problem with connect

It explains the css packet loss, server choke and 120 ping constant and the drop outs in WoW during raids

I even stopped downloading to see if that makes any difference oh well got to distribute acouple of gigs over a few days now :P

PS thanks for the 1.4gb downlaod number i can balance it accordingly now

Re: Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down?

These are the speeds (click below attachment) I am getting on Connect day in day out, all DAY long. After 6pm once the 'switch' is thrown it all drops below 1mb. Something radically wrong somewhere at Sky/BT HQ.

Re: Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down?

Dunno if this is of interest.
night before last I just had the pc logged in and it stayed above 3.5mb all night. last night I was fifa09'ing online with the 360, when it suddenly crapped back to 128k.
Downloads were less than 300mb and have been all week.
Me thniks someone in Sky\BT has decided to throttle anyone having any kind of fun with their broadband connection

Apologies for commenting on my own post, too late for a legal edit. I would like to add to the above that after 6pm I am not doing anything 'exciting' to warrant being throttled, just the odd YouTube item, email and general surfing.

Apologies again for commenting on my own post, just wanted to put record straight.
