Hi Just had a look at Littlewick Green exchange. I have seen exchanges with only 2500 residential premises being Sky LLU unbundled in August on Latest Sky Unbundled Exchanges on SamKnows I was on Market 1 on SamKnows in fact still showing Market 1. But LLU was worth waiting for I could have gone to VM What ever you decide I hope all goes well.

Well if you read my posts you'd see I've already moved just waiting for the installation date.

Hi What I should have said was if you are able to get the 50MBs and there is no problem with the installation date I hope all goes well.

That being said, getting 50Mb VM installed next month

Hardly. You just seemingly can't tell the difference between BT limiting your line profile and Sky traffic shaping their service and not having enough BT Wholesale bandwidth available (that's the bigger factor, by the way).

As for the bandwidth charges, although I agree that they're exorbitant, it's up to Sky to develop a model based around these costs that can provide a reasonable service. They chose not to and opted for the pile 'em high strategy and unfortunately dragged a premium IPStream service down with them (UKOnline, 24.99, same product). You can't solely blame BT for that.

Unless you can bring some factual information to the table rather than hearsay, I'll refrain from responding.

When you have joined the 1kbps club then you can talk. I have asked you to read posts on Steve's Sky Connect speedtest blog and obviously you have not. Here`s a few which show that Bt are causing issues with ISPs who sell Bt re-badged products first 1/ post #40. #44. #61.#91. drop of IP profile the lowest. As I have said was 225kbps. But that is all in the past. But any connect Customer who has problems I will try and help them and not criticise them. But now Sky Unlimited which is excellent and worth waiting for.

Hardly. You just seemingly can't tell the difference between BT limiting your line profile

Hi have you read about this Sky turns on set-top box internet connection - Telegraph what do you think.
I have already had this very heated debate on other forums Steve. Yet again you have to have Sky's own LLU service. Sky say they hope to work with other providers in the future to extend their service. Another aims and ambitions statement I'm afraid.

And I've been on VM before and not had any issues.

tl;dr - sky are sh*t, every other ISP is better
Your are indeed fortunate that you have an option - many of us do not.

Surely you can just go with BT? At least then you'll be getting what you pay for.
