Hi for the connect package Sky only take notice of Bt Updated Speed Tester and as Smithy99 has advised that`s the only way have a look at Broadband from 4.99 - Compare Best Broadband Deals, Packages & UK Broadband Providers

I thought I'd update this thread with a recent briefing - I'm not sure if it's already been discussed or is well known on the forum already, so if it is, I apologise.

Sky will apparently be buying 40% more capacity for the connect network (I think it was 40%) and users should see a difference come the end of Summer. Good news.

Yes but can your BT BB monthly sub trump my 5 per month Connect sub? Why did you not choose Plusnet? a BT company and the only one that I can find that is up front with its customers about what they will be throttled on how much and when - cheaper than BT too.

Re: Sky Connect Broadband - Are you being slowed down?

The best way to throttle Sky back is to move to Virgin ....If enough people do it theymay learn their lesson, I'm on unlimmited what a laugh I can only download at 0.5 Sky throttling is a joke.

The unlimited service isnt throttled, never has been and isnt at present. If you have a slow connection I would suggest making a new post and we will help you out with it.
