      Some questions first.
      Are you connecting wirelessly?
Are you connected to the mastersocket, better yet the testsocket?
Are you using any extension cables or have a splitter before the microfilter?
Are all sockets that are being used filtered?

If you are worried about your Pings call Sky on 08442 410 515.
Say you are having high ping times and would like passed to CST.

They will reduce your Max Delays which in turn should sort ping times out.
Connect with Etherent cable if you havn't already.

Your download speed will always be lower than your routers sync speed, possibly around a Mb slower or so, depending on the time of day Peak times will obviously be slightly lower.

If your normally receiving those download and upload speeds then thats about right.

What operating system are you using? Sometimes after a while Windows XP changes the TCP/IP settings of the network adaptor which can lead to this sort of thing. Use a TCP optimizer and see if it helps. (SpeedGuide.net :: TCP Optimizer / Downloads). Select the speed about 500kbps your sync.

You are using the V2 router so I do not know if you can get the Interleaving and Max Delay settings on it. If anyone knows how to get them out of the router it may help.

And get nowhere, most outsource centers and some in house staff have not been trained for max delay requests as Sky seemed to stop doing it when it became obvious a lot of customers were calling back to moan about unstable connections a few weeks down the line.
First thing we need to know is wired or wireless.
