You could default Internet Explorer or just set your homepage to Sky.com - Home.

      Default IE:
Open IE > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Restore defaults or Restore advance settings > Apply > Ok.

      Make Sky homepage:
      Open IE > Tools > Internet Options > General > Where it says "home page" Type url here;
      Code:
      http://www.sky.com
      > Apply > Ok.

      Should do the trick.

If not check your Network Connections through control panel make sure there is no BT BB Connection there.

Why not just control panel, add remove programs, and all the BT installed software will show in there and just remove each one.

Just had to do this with my parents machine went from BT to Sky.

Re: recently giving a comp problems connectin to net

      Hi there.
This is actually a registery entry that can be deleted. It does not have any bearing on what isp software is left on your pc although the advice given to remove any old isp software is correct.
When the old BT account was set up the easy install cd was used. This applies for a dial up setup or a broadband setup in the case of BT. The cd rewrites your Internet Explorer title bar with spammy adverts for the particular isp.
Go to "start" and then click on "run". Type in "regedit" and go to
      computer\HKEY\CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inte rnet Explorer\Main\.

Toward the bottom of all that gobbly de gook you should see Window Title listed you will need to double click the little ab icon to the left of the text and it will open up an edit box. Delete the text in the edit box and bob's your uncle. You can add something appropriate relating to yourself (mine says Provided by Pete and no unwanted ads) but only you see it so it doesn't make any difference.

Ignore any speech marks that I have put around the entry texts. That was just to highlight that that was what you type.

A word of warning though. If your not familiar with editing your registry leave it alone. Deleting the wrong thing can cause your pc to not start and may incur an expense to reinstall Windows. Other than a spam advert for BT its doing no harm to have your IE titlebar saying it was provided by BT.

HAPPY NEW YEAR everybody whenever it comes.
