and no one will be able to give you an answer as no one has been properly briefed on it as no one was meant to notice the slow down!!!

the best you'll get is everyone is throttled during peak times and even more so if you download more than about 1.5GB a day...and that's if you get someone who even knows that!!...

If the connect package is controlled by BT as you say... would It be worth switching to say, the Mid or the Max package?

The only reason that you are on Connect is that Sky either do not have their equipment in your exchange, or they do but there is no capacity for you.
You might try having a look for your exchange on Samknows to see if Sky/Easynet are an LLU operator there.

Re: At the end of my teather...

I just checked on Samknows and Sky Is not present at my exchange, which is pretty much a 15 minute walk from my house.

However 02/Be Is or Talktalk, and i'm considering moving to them...

Talk talk say i can get 3.6Mbit, and 02/Be say 8Mbit... this is oh so confusing x] lol

is that LLU speeds as that sounds like they are just offering more rebadged BT products, you should see a whole lot more on that attenuation.

      Hi templeton
To be honest I don`t know. Once you start switching your isp`s you never know what the next will be like could be better for a while then you could have same problem I`m sticking with sky because there`s more than one server having the same problem at least we know what the problem is it`s just convincing sky that we know, Did you ring sky this morning I`m ringing tonight and slavering how wonderful the staff are and did they know they had a problem should be at least interesting

Re: At the end of my teather...

Yeah i what you mean about it being better or worse, but im pretty sure It can't be much worse than what im putting up with at the moment, especially since the exchange Is down the road and I've heard nothing but good things from 02.

I think I'll take the leap.
