      Bringing forward activation

      Hi,

Even though it's Christmas I've got to do a nightshift tomorrow night, which requires me to work online at home (I'm a sport journalist). Now, I was going to go and buy a cheap 3g card but was wondering whether Sky might activate me earlier if I ask them nicely. Am I expecting too much? Activation date is Tuesday and I need it Sunday evening.

Any Sky people here know whether this is even remotely possible? I'm willing to beg...

Well it would be nice if that would make a difference but sadly, Sky have to book the exchange work with BT and it is their schedule that determines the activation date.

Fair enough. No idea how the system worked. And now I do.

      Thanks.

Don't mention using it for work to Sky, as it is supplied as a domestic service. It is unlikely, but they may decide to disconnect you for misuse of the connection.
