      Well said that man lol. When ever I get a first time connection customer calling in I always ask if a previous ISP has been on the PC and hope that AOL isn't mentioned.

      many thanks for all yours and everybody elses help.i dont feel competent to do as you say but i know a man who is so i shall get him round to sort things out for me.
