      line live but no connection

      hi all. first post just swap isp from be unlimited to sky max.

      sky says i should be up and running by the end of today 11/12/08, about dinner time today i get a phone call with a voice massage on it saying my sky broadband is live ,try'd plug the router in and all i'm getting is the orange flashing light, should i be getting sky broadband now or have i got to give it a few days.

      i still have my BE account running and live will that get turn off before sky can connect or will i be able to get both .thx

      Sky are a bit ahead of the game here, Openreach need to swap you over to sky, so stay with BE untill it no longer works then plug in the sky router. On the activation letter it gives 3 days time slot I think

      Thanks very much saves me pluging the router in every 5 mins .

      Once you are up and running with Sky, tell Be straight away. Openreach should do this, but it does no harm to do it yourself, and you do not want to be charged for a service you are not getting
