Do you have any extension sockets? and if you do, are they dead when you use the test socket?

      Re: Should i be crying?

Just ADSL filter.. Tried alternative ADSL filter. Made no difference

Oddly my speed has gone up when i switched it off and on again.

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 3104 kbps 768 kbps
Line Attenuation 55 db 31 db
Noise Margin 6 db 11 db

I figure with this sort of line attenuation im screwed ?

      So gutted

Roughly the same bud.. Was a brand new line, so BT Openworld faceplate.. Essentially the BT iPlate..

So with DLM .. How far can i expect to go up. Or am i doomed to hover around 2-3mb for life.

well, you're not on adsl2+, and attenuation is a bit high so might be all you're gonna get

      Re: Should i be crying?

      How'd you know i'm not on ADSL2+ ? I ordered Max..

Also how do i get on it...

Its a shame.. I was looking forward to this.. I mean i know allot of factors can weigh in, and i don't blame sky in the matter. But be nice if there was any way to improve my disappointing situation.
