      getting a joke

      Ever since two days ago, the speed of my broadband has dropped once again from 1meg to a crazy 500kb, this 1/2meg connection really effects my online gaming. I usually only have aound 1.5 mb connection, the upload is the same, I then checked my phone line speed which is usally 1.5mg, it told me that my expected phone line speed is now only 0.5mg, with no explaination from sky? can anyone please help, i am an gaming addict so i really cant be having these speeds, i haventn changed anythings in the house, except put the christmas tree and lights up, so what is the problem?

      If you are using wireless and sometimes even if you are not, then this is your problem. The festive season is always a bad time for broadband. Post the stats from your router, preferably from your normal position and from the Test socket, for comparison.

      Hey psx_addict, are you anywhere in North London?

      I have been having intermittent problems with my Sky broadband for a few weeks now, there will be times it wont work at all, and times it becomes very slow and unresponsive and have called Sky Customer Support and they keep blaming the BT exchange, which doesn't look like its ever going to be resolved.

      I've had enough of calling them and writing to them so I have requested my MAK code so I can move somewhere else. As I am not paying 10 a month to get hardly any service.
