      Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.

      Activation date received today - Wednesday,4th October.We are literally 200 metres from a BT exchange,so even on the mid package we should be 'Billy Wizzing!' Future updates as they happen.Did I say happen??Now there's being positive for you!

      It never hurts to be positive but its always best to expect the worst then it doesn't hurt so much

      I guess you could say that there is certainly some insurance in that philosophy Ray.Anyway for the record I received all necessary equipment today - Thursday,28th September.

      Hiya Ray.Well it's 11.25 p.m. my friend and I'm presently waiting to see whether Sky are true to their word and have us up and running by midnight.I don't think I'll wait up for this momentous occasion but will check again tomorrow.All lights are on,just waiting for the green internet light to come on now.Will report back soon and, hopefully, in broadband mode.

      FAO Ray or anybody who may be able to advise.Am now past the witching hour and still no sign of activation.Also when I switched on this morning I noticed that the '1' on the right of the box is no longer illuminated.Any ideas?Ta.

      The 1 is the indicator that the PC physically plugged into that ethernet port is talking to the router(yellow lead in Sky's guide). Either the PC on that port is switched off or you have unplugged it.

      Chris is correct if its a number thats and Ethernet connection problem also make sure that you haven't disabled the Local Area Connection in Network Connections
