ah right, i was just looking at the main Zen internet - fair enough for LLU support though!

i've made it an aim of mine to understand BTW a lot more as LLU is easy now - still not great but i can tell the differences between faults and the like...things like HAWK are still pretty much unknown to us!!

Re: Getting sky support to listen to a fault.

HAWK is a great tool, I was speaking with the engineer today as not all engineers I`ve been on site visits with have it. He was telling me that they are currently testing some other units as the HAWK they have now is quite bulky.

A good site for all things DSL is
      kitz.co.uk - ADSL Broadband Information
They have info on all steps of the BTW dsl from Green cab, exchange etc.

From a support POV the basica diagnostics for both are the same. There are some issues that will affect BTW that wont affect LLU(like the AR7 chipset issue that a zen support staff member spotted and badgered ppl until it got resolved )

I have been supporting DSL for over 4 years now and I am still learning new things.

THe next few weeks are where the fun starts though Christmas lights and BB have never made good bed fellows. Just glad I'm not on calls lol

I`ve been looking at maybe getting sky voice on my line as well. Do you do FUll unbundling with the voice or is it carrier pre-select ?
