      hey guys

      havent posted in ages forum is still great as usual!!!

      anyway yeah i turned on my router the first time since monday...

      and i was syncing in a 2560kbps...

      now im syncing at

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
      Connection Speed 1696 kbps 416 kbps
      Line Attenuation 63.5 db 31.5 db
      Noise Margin 11.6 db 13.0 db

      so restarted my router after 30 mins... and still the same!

      just wondering have sky capped me because i didnt use my internet.?

      sounds daft! but would they do that?

      With those stats you do look capped, don't think Sky would do this because your not using the internet, why would they care, your sync speed is not taking up and bandwidth.

      You'll have to ring them to get it lifted again

      It may have more to do with the fact that you turn off your router, why do you do that?

      nah i turned it off for the first time in ages..because i thought it was a waste of electric as i was staying with a friend over the weekend and no one would be at home.. so yeah i thought why not save electric... ill give sky a bell.. cheers smithy..

      Sky don't cap unless you've called in first - so unless DLM has all of a sudden done something I'd get into your test socket and just make sure nothing is wrong...

      got me up to a reasonable speed

      so yeh im happy for now... until new year when DLM comes.. i hope not... but knowing my luck it will

      By the looks of it they changed your snr`s i see it came down a bit from the first post ,

      now its got worse......

      got home this is my internet now..

      oh and btw was on phone to sky for a hour (on hold)

      anyways here is my stats

      Noise Margin 16.6 db 14.0 db
