      Best Gaming Config on Line?

Hey I play the PS3 a lot online and it drops out, and this is only recent...

      So heres my question.

What is the best settings to ask for when you call Sky?

      MaxDelay etc...

      Thanks!!

Btw i'm in main socket and syncing at around 13-14mbs on a good day... I have had no problems surfing, I just want this ideal for gaming.

      Thanks!!

Just get them to look at the max delays and get these reduced. Is the PS3 Wired or wireless ? Gaming is better wired.

      13 - 14 Mb
get sky to bring down ur sync speed to 11 ish Mb that should allow ur max delays to be brought down to 8

if u ask and ask and ask you can be put on fast path but only if u ask they will never offer it but for fast path on fast path u may have to be brough down to 10Mb

lowering the sync speed will give a more stable connection when delays are reduced or ignored on fast path
it takes arround 1 minute to put the delays down and 1 min to put them back up if all else fails

Sky do not do Fastpath, or at least I have never heard of anyone on it.

As advised, gaming is much more stable on a wired connection, the improvement I had when I fitted a couple of homeplugs was quite dramatic and I have a good line and get the full 16Mb so the dropouts I was receiving had nothing to do with anything other than the wireless and they all wnet away once they were wired.

Get your max delays reduced to 8, but be aware that they may want to cap your speed to keep stability on your line.

Post your router stats so we can have a look to see how good your line is.

Are you speaking from experience ?
If so I'm sure there would be a lot of interested members who would like to know how you have managed this, as the first 5 words of your post pretty much sums up skys policy to date on this.

Sky do NOT offer Fastpath on their LLU service - never have, never will (unless the change their minds). any agent found doing so gets reported...
