      @ 30_years.
      If you have a lot of line noise, and it is the same if you use a differant phone, then you need to report this to whoever you pay your line rental to. Once this is sorted your BB will be fine.

      and i dont think its normal but a router to have a internet light that flashes amber than goes solid and just goes off without going green, i cant understand

      whats stopping it from going green.

      also i posted my router log and statistics in sky broadband help section

      title is "sagem f@st 2504 problem" check it out and post with whatu think is happening

      Just to confirm, do you have a NTE-5 master (the one with the test socket) If you do and the test socket is noisy, but the faceplate socket is not then it needs replacing, report this to who ever you pay your line rental to.

      If you cannot get an internet connection at all, and you have tried resetting the router, then you need to contact Sky

      and is this why my router is doing this?

      because of my test socket?

      and my socket downstairs is the older bt sockets, the one with a "t" logo on it instead of bt

      so if this gets replaced, will it work?

      If the test socket is noisy, then the master needs replacing.
      I would still contact Sky and see if your line has been activated.

      idk my dad said they did 2 connections

      one in front room leading to my bedroom which is on 3rd floor

      and the one in my room is a master socket and the one downstairs is the main socket but its the older bt sockets
