Have i been put onto ADSL2?

Had my sky connection acticated last tuesday, got the Sagem router.

      My stats to begin with:

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 6016 kbps 768 kbps
Line Attenuation 49.0 db 29.5 db
Noise Margin 7.1 db 14.0 db

Which i thought were pretty good, at my old house i was only able to achieve 3mb.

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 5024 kbps 796 kbps
Line Attenuation 52.5 db 29.0 db
Noise Margin 7.5 db 12.0 db

After a few days my stats changed to this, does the 3.5db increase show a move to ADSL2? If so, is it best to get changed back? As i will gain nothing but a speed loss from the move.

      Thanks.

yes you are on adsl2+ as you're on DLM - all new connections are - and it'll run for 10 days from activation...once the first cycle has completed you can get it adjusted but what's 1Mbps difference? an extra 100KB a sec? hardly worth it IMO...
