Wii cant see any router including my sky one

Not sure if anyone can help here but ill give it a go.

I recently sent my Wii back to Nintendo as when I search for wireless access point it finds nothing. They have sent it back saying it found all of the wireless access points in the service centre.

My next door neighbours wii can connect to my sky router with no isses but my Wii still wont.

Has anyone got any ideas why?

It used to work but just disconnected one day and now wont reconnect.

      Cheers

      Gary

Go into the router settings, http://192.168.0.1 go to the wireless settings and under Security, tick Disable. Check that -The wireless access point is enabled and broadcasting the SSID is allowed
Set the Channel to 13 and check that in the Wireless Access list that Turn on Access Control is not ticked.
      See if you can connect.

Re: Wii cant see any router including my sky one

Just tried the above but my Wii still says ' No Access Point Found'

There must be at least 4 wireless signals near enough for my laptop to pick up and as I said my next door meighbours Wii can find my access point but no mine in the same room?

      Anymore Ideas

Have you tried it on another router, eg, you next door neighbour's or any of your friends. If you have and it still does not work, get back on to the supplier.

You might also like to work your way through the router channels, trying one at a time. If none of this works, then it is most likely your Wii that has a faulty wireless adapter.

It very much sounds like you have a faulty Wii.

Maybe worth looking at ethernet for gaming though,
